A scientist by profession, the author of TTT branched out into journalism in 2003 and since then has written features, columns, and interviews for over 1,000 different magazines and newspapers. Articles/interviews with classic film & TV entertainers have appeared in the Washington Post, Boston Globe, San Francisco Chronicle, Seattle Times,  USA Today, Yahoo! News, and film publications Films of the Golden Age, Classic Images and Cinema Retro, and many other publications.
 
In 2011, McFarland & Co. published "Raised by the Stars: Interviews with 29 Children of Hollywood Actors."

Star Trek - original series only, please! - features prominently in interviews, too, including Bill Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Walter Koenig, and others connected to the series: D.C.Fontana, Michael Dante, Louise Sorel, BarBara LunaElinor Donahue, France Nuyen, and Sherry Jackson.
 
Science related interviews have appeared in the Denver Post, Washington PostBoston Globe and San Francisco Chronicle.  And let's not forget Elements in the Movies.
