A scientist by profession, the author of TTT branched out into journalism in 2003 and since then has written features, columns, and interviews for over 1,000 different magazines and newspapers. Articles/interviews with classic film & TV entertainers have appeared in the Washington Post, Boston Globe, San Francisco Chronicle, Seattle Times, USA Today, Yahoo! News, and film publications Films of the Golden Age, Classic Images and Cinema Retro, and many other publications.
In 2011, McFarland & Co. published "Raised by the Stars: Interviews with 29 Children of Hollywood Actors."
Other interviews include Maureen O'Hara, Eva Marie Saint, Mickey Rooney, Jane Russell & Shirley Temple, Tony Curtis, Doris Day, Leslie Caron, Shirley Jones, Lenka, Cyndi Lauper, Glen Campbell, Carol Burnett, Carl Reiner, Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson, Rick Springfield, Neil Sedaka, makeup artist Dick Smith, Apollo astronauts here, here, and here, the cast and crew of The Big Bang Theory (here, here, and here) and all band members of Pentatonix (see complete list).
Star Trek - original series only, please! - features prominently in interviews, too, including Bill Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Walter Koenig, and others connected to the series: D.C.Fontana, Michael Dante, Louise Sorel, BarBara Luna, Elinor Donahue, France Nuyen, and Sherry Jackson.
